As Benjamin P. Hardy describes in his masterpiece “Slipstream Time Hacking ” success is not about getting our goals in life. Success is all about how we make those goals happen, and how much we do really enjoy each second we invest in getting those goals happening.
Ignacio G. Campos describes success as a second, not referring a second as a momentum being a position in any competition. He describes it as how we live every infinitesimal portion of time we have the luck to live, in his recent book “A life in a second”.
Success is never past and will be never future. Success is not coming from the outside, but from how we feel inside.
Success is not about winning or losing. Success is not about being the first or the second. Success is all about going for an extra mile, even being the second. Success is how we find solutions and deal with limitations to any given situation, now.
Success is all about acting and not reacting. Success is all about deciding our lives, being fully responsible for our decisions, during all the process.
Success is not blaming others for our faults or others faults, but assuming full responsibility for our actions for searching solutions.
Success is influencing positively as much as we can with the resources we are able to have to make others even more successful than we are. This is our real purpose, to make every second we live magical and beautiful.
Meeting our fears to become fearless
Being truly aware of the fears we all have and suffer is the starting point of a new life, a game changer.
Once we are aware we can be thankful and appreciating what we already have, which usually is much more than the things, we give thanks for.
If we were truly aware of the full reality being there are still millions of people who would kill for having today a hot shower, we might realize many how lucky we are and give the right importance to many of the fears we have today. The result of erasing those fears would change our lives for granted.
There is a Greek and Spartan wise quote older women and men used to tell to their people:“The more we sweat in the training, the less we bleed in battle”.
Being the sweat our fears and the training our actions, the bleed our growth and the battle our lives, we can have a pretty good idea on how much we are really making our lives aim to the goals we really want to attain to balance the effort we are putting for those to happen now.
The main lesson we should learn here from the Greeks and the Spartans is that it’s in our hands to make every second valuable and worth living, because we are all made for great things, to know and act for our real purposes in life, even being small in our daily universes.
Stay warrior and invest a second to share it if you liked it,
